San Diego City College Classes

I received an “A” for both of the two classes I took at San Diego City College. During the spring semester of 2018 I took my first college class – “141A – United States History from a Chicano Perspective” with Professor Abel Macias. The class focused “on the period of discovery to the period of Reconstruction…”.

I took my second class during the summer of 2018, “141B – United States History from a Chicano Perspective” with Professor Gabriela Kovats Sánchez. This was the second class for the series, and it focused on “the period of the American acquisition in 1848 of Mexico to the present….”. Professor Gaby even invited me to make a guest presentation to the class about my role in introducing Ethnic Studies to HTHCV!

This is a picture of me making a special presentation to my class at City College about my work with Ethnic Studies!
This picture was taken on our last day of summer school.
