I have been a swimmer on the HTHCV swim team – The Bruins – since my freshman year. Being on the team has helped keep me physically and mentally healthy. It has also has given me access to a great network of coaches and teammates. Being a part of organized team sports encouraged me to be a better swimmer and an advocate for my teammates. It also helped me develop a sense of school pride and a constructively competitive spirit.
